New Year's Eve

Its the last day of 2015!! I am so excited about wearing my new gown, that I decided to get ready for New Year's Eve early, and maybe even have a glass of pup champagne. Annie on the other paw has her own way of getting ready for tonight. She decided she will nap all day so she is ready to watch the ball drop at midnight.

Dear world,

Bunnybell and I were so excited but felt it best to show them to all our friends before opening. Annie was obviously not happy about this decision!

Defenders of Wildlife

Annie, Bunnybell and I agreed on our fave Christmas gifts this year. We each were given adoptions  from Defenders of Wildlife.  Bunny got the wolf and Annie got the cute turtle. I of course got the sleek and stunning jaguar. Annie and Bunnybell loved their toys, but could have done without the headbands. I, as you know, love fab hair accessories!
So next time you need to get a gift, I highly recommend symbolic wildlife adoptions !

Twas the Night Before Christmas

Dear world,

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, pitter patter of little paws, hopefully not a mouse.  The Princess and the dogs were dressed in pajamas for bed, wearing ridiculous holiday hats upon their furry little heads. Ever since Annie saw snow, she has been obsessed with Snowmen. So for Annie's Gotcha Day, I threw her an Olaf party! Annie liked her party especially the toys and snowmen pupcakes. Annie's Gotcha Day #3 !

It's Annie's Gotcha Day ! It has been 3 years since we picked her up from the shelter! We are so lucky to have her in our family. Annie is very excited about her party. In the meantime though, she is happy to blow out the candles on her cake! I sure hope her birthday wish comes true. I just love my dog!

Holiday Hats

Dear world,
With the holiday season and cold weather, I explained the importance of head gear to Annie. Of course there is the holiday route of Santa and Elf type hats and then the more trendy beanie ones. For Annie I also thought the (faux) fur cap works well too. While I consider a wardrobe of hats a fashion must in winter, Annie is not a fan of wearing them. So I need to choose just one or two for her. Which hat is your fave for Annie?

We finally went to get our Christmas tree the other day. Annie and I were instructed to find a great tree for the family. I was so excited to see a row of pink trees- how incredibly fab! Elf Face

Dear world,

The other day at a shopping center we passed a face in the hole board.  Annie at first was a bit spooked at the faceless elf. I explained that it was a photo opportunity and I tried to demonstrate, but my precious poodle head was too little.  Annie’s big head however, fit just fine. She does make a pretty fab elf, doesn't she?

Snow in San Diego ?!

Yesterday on our walk, we ran into the most amazing thing - SNOW! It was windy and a bit cold (by my standards), but snow in San Diego? Mommy explained that it was brought in for a special holiday party for the kids in the neighborhood to sleigh ride and most of it melted already.  Annie loved the feel of the snow on her dirty paws and wanted to stay for awhile. . I however, gracefully leaped away since it was much too cold for my precious Princess paws.

Dear world,
Hanukkah has amazingly yum traditions. Mommy served potato latkes, jelly donuts and cookies just for me and Annie. I dove straight into the delish potato latkes. Annie however wanted to taste it all! Hanukkah is such a fab holiday!

It's Hanukkah !

Dear world,

Shopping with Annie

Dear world,

The other day we went to the store to get treats. Mommy left it up to Annie to pick out which ones we should get. So taking her responsibility very seriously, Annie went carefully down the aisle of treats. Not surprisingly she stopped in front of a jumbo barrel of her faves. I was so proud of her decision making skills! But then when we got home she barked "finders keepers" and declared the treats hers!

Giving Tuesday

Today is Giving Tuesday, a perfect time for me to teach Annie the importance of being charitable. So Annie and I will be celebrating my taking some of our holiday spending money and donating to one of our fave charities – Best Friends Animal Society.  Since we love kitties and have so many fab kitty friends, we decided to sponsor two kitty sisters – Faith and Martha. Sisters sponsoring sisters!  Annie learned that it feel just as good to give as it does to receive.

Our Thanksgiving Feast

Dear world,
The big Joe's Stone Crab box from Miami Beach was delivered for our family's unique Thanksgiving meal tradition. But we prefer turkey, so Mommy made us our ground turkey legs (now she can tell everyone she cooked turkey!). Anyway, we sat down to our meal and I proceeded to bark about about all the things I am thankful for. And not only could Annie  not wait to eat till I was finished barking, but then Bunnybell grabbed the turkey leg off my plate ! Am I the only one with manners?

Happy Thanksgiving !

Dear world,
Annie and I want to wish all of America a very Happy Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for so many things -- each other, our forever Mommy & Daddy, and getting to live in a wonderful home in beautiful San Diego. Thanksgiving treats

Dear world,

One of the things I teach in Princess School is to be a good guest as well as fab hostess. So I explained to Annie it would be nice to get some Pup Treats that we could bring to someone’s house or serve to guests at our house.  And it is always nice to have a themed gift for the holidays. So we went to the fab Three Dog Bakery and selected a yummy Thanksgiving assortment. I took the treats out and showed Annie how to display them. But the second I turned away, she immediately bit into the turkey leg! Will Annie ever learn to be a Princess?

The other day Annie was mesmerized by a tent on the beach. She thought it was so cool that you could camp out on our beach. I explained to her that it was only being used for shade for the day. The other day when we walked through Beverly Center Mall. First, I saw a big red dog house. Odd. Next I saw a dog hanging with mannequins, but it was way too big for the little house. Weird. Small Dog Meet-up

Dear world,
A few weeks ago I went with Mommy to meet-up with a bunch of small dogs at the Dog House Bar and Grill. We didn't bring Annie because we were not sure she could pass for a small dog (I have been warning her she needs to stop eating seconds at dinner! ) Anyway, there were so many types and sizes of pups. I enjoyed treats on the ground with most of the others. But there were some pups that obviously preferred the drinks on the table ! My fave pup that I met was Shadow, who literally looked like my shadow! What a fab day. Maybe I will bring Annie next time.

Rosy Day at the Beach

After my party on Rosy Day, Annie and Bunnybell and I went to the beach. While we were doing our photoshoot, we almost had a photobomb. But Annie and Bunnybell scared the dog away, and we got the perfect shot. Then as a Rosy Day activity we asked our friends to play Ring around the Rosy. What a fab beach day!
