Memorial Day

Dear world,
Its Memorial Day so its time for a themed meal of course. Before we were seated, Bunnybell went to inquire what we were having. Chicken and steak! How yummy!
More importantly, on Memorial Day we want to take the time to remember and honor those fallen in service for our great country.

Wig Out

Dear world,
I heard that it is National Wig Out Day. So I got out all my wigs but had real trouble deciding which to wear. I chose the most demure one for the day. Maybe tonight I will go a bit wild and wear the blue one. Annie wanted nothing to do with Wig Day.

Swan Crossing

Dear world,
The other day at the lake, Mrs. Swan started crossing the path without yielding us the right of way like she was supposed to. So I started arguing with her. But she continued across the path. The next thing I knew, Baby Swan crossed the path along with her. Mommy told me to stop barking but I think it is important for the whole Swan family to understand their position and the rules in my Princessdom.

Rosy
P.S. On a sad note, there is only one baby swan left. RIP Baby Swan II.

Polite Rejection

Dear world,
We were at the beach yesterday and a puppy was interested in Annie. Annie interacted gently and then decided she did not want to play with the puppy. I'm so proud; her Princess lessons are paying off. Annie has finally mastered polite rejection.

Camels

Dear world,
Mommy and Daddy are FINALLY back from their trip. As soon as they got home, Annie searched their suitcases to find toys. They got us Camels! I am planning to take good care of my dromedary. Annie, on the other paw, has already started chewing hers. Soon, it will be a camel without a hump.

Time off

Dear world,
Mommy and Daddy will be away for a couple of weeks so Uncle Brian is here to stay with us. He so fab! But that means I will have to take a break from blogging for a while. I promised Brian I would help him with his next novel (he's an author!). Plus I will be very busy managing the household.
Remember, if you get Rosy withdrawl, you can just read my previous posts!

Happy Mother's Day!

Since Mommy is the most important person in the world to us, Annie and I wanted to celebrate Mother's Day by preparing Mommy a beautiful lunch. I of course was in charge of the decor. Annie volunteered to be in charge of the food. I told her no hamburgers again. So she thought about what Bear would have done. And we served pizza !
Happy Mother's Day to our Mommy and all the Mommies of the World!

Kentucky Derby

Today is the Kentucky Derby. Annie thinks it would be so awesome to watch it right from the track itself and feel the excitement with dirt on your paws. I think it would be much more fab to comfortably watch from the VIP level being served and drinking Mint Juleps. Which would you rather do?

Cinco De Mayo

For Cinco De Mayo, Bunnybell and I decided to have a festive party serving appropriate food and beverage. The party just started and Bunnybell and I wanted to sing and play the maraccas. I tried to insist that Annie waits to have the (chicken) chips until after we sing. But Annie just couldn't help herself.
Happy Cinco De Mayo!

Seat Hog

Dear world,
Sometimes, Annie and I both like to sit in the front seat of the car. We both shoudl fit comfortably, but Annie likes to hog the seat so there is no room for me. First I kept asking her nicely to move over, then I warned her there will be consequences. Well, she didnt listen. So the next time she got in the car I made her sit on the floor. Since then, she makes room for me in the front or goes in the back seat! Our dogs need to learn their lessons!

Swan Lake VI

Mrs & Mr Swan had babies! I wanted to congratulate the couple on their new little cygnets. But Mr. Swan came over and told me to keep my distance and not bark and scare the babies. I thought that was a reasonable request. So I went to the dock to watch with the humans. How adorable!
