When we were in Ojai we went to a dog park. That is where we met Lola the pig. She wanted to meet me, but I was not very interested since she smelled weird.
But Rosy is always very social and went to do a sniff and greet. Rosy kept getting swatted in the face while being ignored. Rosy was very insulted so she ordered a BLT for lunch.
One of the things that Ojai Valley Inn is famous for is their fab spa. Once we read the sign, Annie and I realized that we would not be able to experience what everyone raves about. But we hope one day when we meet the age requirements we can come back for a Shangri-La Package !
Dear world,
We really enjoyed breakfast at the Ojai Valley Inn. We were able to order off the Furry Friends Menu. I took it upon myself to be in charge of the order for Annie and myself. So many choices. I usually try to eat healthy, but being on vacation, I decided to splurge and order a double helping of burger patty and forgo the healthy sides. Fabulously yummy in a divine setting!
Dear world,
We are staying in a very beautiful place in Ojai - the Ojai Valley Inn. We don't know how to play golf, so all we could do was admire and pose in front of the fab course. Maybe next time I can come and take lessons and Annie could be my Cocker caddy.
Mommy and Daddy took me and Annie to visit the charming town of Ojai this week. The town's name is from the Chumash Indians' word "Awhai" meaning "moon". Annie thinks its the friendliest name ever for a town. So since Annie has arrived, she keeps barking at everyone - Oh Hi !
The other day at the beach Annie met Henry, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Annie seemed to really like him. I was concerned, that if he thinks of himself as King Henry and thinks of her as Anne, it would not have a happy ending.
The other day I went with Mommy and Daddy to the New Balance store. They both needed new sneakers. So while they were trying on theirs, I decided I would pick some out for me. They had such fab styles! I waited for awhile, but none of the salespeople came over to help me with my size. Did they not think I was serious?
Since I don't have a boyfriend, I decided to have Annie be my Valentine. So I had a party for her with pupcakes. She surprised me with roses. Such a nice and delish Valentine's day! More evidence that having a dog is better than having a boyfriend!
Dear world,
Yesterday Annie and I spent time making Valentine's cards. We each picked what we wanted to use on our cards. I chose everything in pink enhanced with sparkly hearts and princesses. Annie chose red for the card and animal stickers and anything she could get her paws on. Even though mine of course turned out prettier I reassured her that her cards were fab.
Dear world, The other day at the beach I met a nice friend. She had pink ears and an
orange tail, and even I could tell neither were natural. So I did everything I
could to keep her out of Rosy's sight. I did not want Rosy to start barking
about giving me pink highlights again.
Dear world,
We are so excited about the Winter Olympics. Annie and I discussed what sports we would most like to try. I would love skiing - long distance or downhill, or skating fast or gracefully. Annie is thinking hockey and snowboarding or the unique sports of luge or skeleton. Which sports do you think Annie and I would be best at?
Dear world,
The other day on the beach I was taking a casual stroll with Mommy and Rosy. I was minding my own business when this brown puppy jumped in front of my face. He barked "Play with me!". I explained that I was tired and he should find someone his own age to play with. But the next thing I knew he asked me to dance with him ! Rosy told me to tell him that I am not a cougar!
It is Superbowl time which means Superbowl parties. I
believe, just because it is a sports party, doesn't mean the décor and attire
cant be fabulous. I am rooting for the Denver Broncos because I like horses and I
think their colors are so stylish.
