Happy Birthday Bear !

 Today we celebrate Bear's birthday. .He would have been 16 years old today.  

We never knew our brother Bear. His legacy was creating smiles around the world, both live and virtually. We aspire to try to be as awesome as Bear and make our Mom and Dad just as happy as he did . 

Bear loved pizza, so we celebrate Bear's Day with a pizza party. Since we would, but can't virtually share our pizza, why don't you treat yourself to a slice for Bear today? I just know that would create a Golden smile in heaven..

Remember me Thursday

Today is Remember Me Thursday .  It is a day to unite around the world and light a candle to raise awareness of all the orphan animals waiting in shelters and rescues for their forever homes. Teddy and I are lucky that we were adopted from rescues and have a loving forever home.

But today we also light the candle to remember all those beautiful adoptable animals that lost their lives while waiting for a home. So lets spread the word, today and always - The next time you want to bring a new furry member into your family, please save a life and adopt don't shop..

Pancake Day

Mom heard it was Pancake Day and wanted us to join in the festivities. Teddy was excited when he saw the pancakes made just for us. I thought they looked rather bland.

But then Mom took away the plate. When she put the pancakes back down , they were happy faces made with peanut butter and our favorite treats!

No reason to wait. I grabbed a happy pancake right off the plate and brought it to my mat.

Teddy also grabbed a pancake. However, he first licked the face off a different one !

So before Teddy could lick another face off, Mom brought the last full face pancake to me! I love my Mom.

Titus the Gladiator

 Mom brought home gladiator hats for me and Teddy. Teddy wanted nothing to do with them. I however, thought it would be appropriate for me to be a gladiator. After all, my full name is Titus Aurelius Maximus. That sounds like a gladiator, doesn't it?

The only problem is that I cannot decide which gladiator hat to choose. So after I tried the awesome silver one, I tried the super cool gold one.

Which do you think is more befitting for Titus the Gladiator? Gold or Silver ?

Bark Like a Pirate

Arrrrr ! Its International Talk Like a Pirate Day ! So my mate Teddy and I practiced barking like a Pirate.

Teddy told me he didn't feel like a pirate. So I put an eye patch on him and he became Teddy Whitebeard. He was happy !

Cheeseburger Day

Its Cheeseburger Day. So Mom got us each a Quarter Pounder Cheeseburger from McDonalds. 

 Teddy was begging Mom to open the box quickly !

Mom opened the box, but Teddy was having trouble eating the cheeseburger.

 So Teddy asked Mom to feed him. 

I on the other paw, grabbed my Cheeseburger in one bite ! YUM !

Rosh Hashanah

 At sundown today it is Rosh Hashanah, the start of the Jewish NewYear 5779. Mom is Jewish so that makes us Jewish too.  Mom showed us that we celebrate with yummy foods to bring in an awesome New Year.

First she served us the apples and honey. She said we eat the apples and dip them in a little honey which represents a sweet New Year. I reminded Mom that we don't like apples. And Teddy thought the honey was weird.

So next Mom tore off a piece of Challah bread for each of us. Now that was totally yum.

To all those that  celebrate, we bark in Hebrew" Shanah tovah um’tukah " and we also bark it in English - May you have a good and sweet New Year !"

Cheese Pizza Day

It's National Cheese Pizza Day !!! Mom promised us if we dressed up as pizza we would get to  eat some. So here we are.. Teddy and Titus, pizza slices ! 

 Mom keeps her promises! The doorbell rang. Dominos arrived !

I was so happy! I couldn't wipe the grin off my face. Teddy on the other paw, dug right in!

I then joined Teddy before he ate the whole pizza!

For Labor Day, of course Teddy and I had to dress in our Red White and Blue. Then. Mom imagined us in front of a festive Patriotic background.

I, on the other paw, imagined Teddy and I at a Labor Day Cookout with hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill.
