Sand Castle Building

I joined the family at the beach learning how to build a sandcastle. Everyone was very busy doing stuff with sand and buckets of water.

I stayed close by, listened to the teacher and watched intently.

I could hardly believe my blue eyes when I saw the finished product. SO fab! The only thing I would have done differently is paint it pink.
PS. Annie was at home with the dog sitter.

Family visit

Dear world,
We are so excited, our family from Chicago is here to visit!! Yesterday was so fun! Annie was especially interested in the Easter egg surprises. I, on the other paw, loved to join Caroline in the pool. Then I gave Charlotte equal time in the evening chasing toys with her. I have a feeling I will need a vacation after they leave!
PS - Annie still needs to rest. But as you can see, she is feeling much better !

Happy Easter !

Dear world,
Since Annie still doesn't feel her best, I thought I would assist her with Easter activities. I felt that she could forgo the Easter outfit, although she didn't mind wearing her bunny ears while she napped. So I collected eggs for her and filled her basket while I collected all the pink eggs for myself. When she wakes up from her nap and sees her treats, I bet that will help make her feel better!
Hope everyone has a happy Easter!

Annie's home !

Dear world,
Annie’s surgery went great. And since she did so well in recovery and really wanted to be home, we got to pick her up yesterday.  She was so happy to be out, except for the silly cone on her head.  When we got home, she immediately checked on her toys to make sure they were all ok.  Then she got into one of her fave napping position as guard of toys.

P.S. Thanks for all your prayers, healing vibes, love and support. They mean the world to Annie, me and my family.

Pawprayers Please.

Dear world,
We need your prayers and pawprayers. Sweet Annie is having surgery today. If you remember, she had surgery and was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma cancer on her bladder in September 2014. Well, we just found out her tumor came back. The surgeon called her a miracle dog when we met with him the other day. So the doc is going to try his best to reduce or take that yucky thing out. Then we hope to go through the same protocol of Eastern medicine, acunpuncture and Ozone therapy to prevent more growth. Mommy and Daddy will do whatever is best for Annie. We love her so much.

Easter eggs

Dear world,
Yesterday Annie and I made Easter eggs. Annie was a bit overwhelmed by all the different choices of colors and ideas for Easter eggs. I told her she can make them however she wanted. But I didn't let her near the eggs while I was coloring them -- she was too tempted to drink the water and eat the eggs. When we were done I admired her eggs but she was very impressed with my royal egg family.

Winslow's visit

Dear world,
Over the weekend, our friend Winslow and his Mom Cathy came to visit. We went to the lake and had a nice time taking a prance.  When we got back to the house Cathy gave us each a fab gift of homemade treats. I suggested we share with Winslow, but Annie barked you snooze you lose and she went off to eat hers while Winslow was napping.

Happy Birthday Sydne!

Dear world,
Today is our human sis Sydne's birthday! We hope she and Bunnybell come to visit soon so we can have a belated celebration. She can't come in time for Easter, so we won't do an Easter treat hunt.  But since Sydne loves the beach, I think I will throw her a beach birthday bash with a California Girls theme. That will be easy for us beach babes to pull off!
Happy Birthday Sydne!

Spring Fashion

Dear world,
I love the beginning of a new fashion season, especially Spring. I'm so happy that Pink is a big color this season (although I personally wear it year round!). Another one of my faves on trend this season is polka dots. So I thought to be ready for Spring I would style Annie and myself in coordinating fashionable outfits. What trends to you like for Spring?

St. Patricks Day

Dear world,
In preparation for St. Patricks Day, I spent some time teaching Annie all about the day. When I got to the part about the very rare four leaf clover, I said if she finds one it will bring her luck. She barked that she doesn't need to find one because she feels very lucky already. She was much more interested in the paws on learning about corned beef and cabbage.

Pi Day

Today is Pi Day. Annie didn't understand the whole mathematics reference so she suggested we celebrate with  a pie from Urban Pi.  Since the "Pi" is the same spelling, I thought that was OK, especially since it is my fave pizza.
Happy Pi Day!

The Bachelor : The Final Rose

Dear world,
It is almost time for the final rose. Ben has narrowed it down to Lauren and JoJo. So I posed the question to our friend Winslow. If you were the Bachelor, would you pick the blonde or the brunette?
Who do you think Ben should pick?

Plant a Flower Day

It’s Plant a Flower Day . So I took Annie to the Armstrong Garden Shop in Del Mar and explained that we need to pick out pretty flowers.

We each took our time looking at all the fab flowers.

Then we went home and were ready to plant. Annie refused to dig with anything but her nose and I didn’t want to get my Princess paws dirty.  So we decided to let Mommy plant the flowers.

Photos with Sugar

Dear world,
We got to spend the day with Sugar last week. And of course our Moms have to take a pic at every opportunity of the three of us together. I asked Sugar, why she always gets to be in the middle? She used the excuse that she is the biggest. But I barked that I am the Princess so I should be the one front and center. Annie wouldn't support me! I think she enjoyed the rare sight of me in second place!

Lawn Bowling

The other day I decided it was time for Annie to learn lawn bowling. So when the pins were set up, I explained the game and gave her the green ball.

I demonstrated with my purple ball how to knock the pins down.

When it was her turn she went over to the pins and knocked them down with her nose. Next class, remedial lawn bowling.

Swan Lake V

Dear world,
I really thought we made headway and had a truce with the swans. But yesterday Mrs Swan was about to come after Annie so I barked to protect Annie. Then I barked to warn Annie to look out for the sister Miss Swan and cheered on when Annie chased her away! So much for a peaceful Swan Lake.

Mr. Potato Head

Dear world,
Mommy brought home Mr. Potato Head which greatly peaked Annie's interest. Mommy then took him apart which made Annie very distraught. I told her that he is a toy and that is how you are supposed to play with him. She barked that she will protect Mr. Potato Head so no one ever takes him apart again. That's our sensitive sweet Annie.

Stroller Sharing

Dear world,
I love our daily walk. Annie and Mommy walk to and from the lake while I am strolled. At the lake I prance around and take my sweet time to sniff every blade of grass and bark at the ducks. But yesterday, Annie got very tired on the way back home. So Mommy took me out and put Annie in my stroller!!!Then I was placed back in what little room was left in the stroller. I told Mommy this was unacceptable so from now on she is driving us to the lake!
