#FuzzFriday with Rocco

Annie asked if we could celebrate #FuzzFriday with Rocco.  Ugh. She still dreams about her meeting Rocco at BlogPaws. She was so starstruck! I told her that I don't think Rocco can come all the way from Utah to join us. ..

She barked that she was talking about his treats, not him! Oh, of course, Rocco & Roxie treats. Yum! Then Mommy told Annie she can continue celebrating with Rocco. Annie was excited....

Until she realized that Rocco also has his own Rocco & Roxie shampoo. Now we all have an extra treat for #FuzzFriday - Annie smells good!  Happy #FuzzFriday !

#FuzzFriday - Bacon Balls

For #FuzzFriday we decided we wanted to try more treats from Sugar's cookbook. This time we chose what Sugar's Mom called "Bacon for breakfast, lunch and dinner" .  Annie couldn't wait till the baking started and went after the ingredients - the bacon of course.

 Then the treats came out of the oven and we tasted them. OMP! Annie and I just love these. We call them Bacon Balls. SO yum! We just adore the Cooking for Sugar book. In this house though, the title has been translated into Cooking For Rosy and Annie!

#FuzzFriday - Veggie Treats

Tomorrow is Vegetarian Day, so I thought it would be appropriate to make Green Bean Crunchie veggie treats to celebrate #FuzzFriday.  Annie, however, who is not fond of veggies was not happy.

But I told Annie it is a nice tribute to Fuzz to celebrate with Green Beans. After all it is his namesake day and he used to eat them by the Costco case full.  Fuzz even blogged about it.

So when served, Annie sniffed the freshly made Green Bean Crunchies and was not at all enthused. She barked that she had a better idea. 

Annie understood that Fuzz liked carrots too. So she decided that Carrot Cake from Three Dog Bakery was a much better #FuzzFriday veggie  treat. What a fab idea Annie!

#FuzzFriday - Cooking For Sugar

 Our dear friend Sugar came out with a cookbook "Cooking for Sugar"  - well, her Mom wrote it, but Sugar is the chief taste tester and top model. Anyway, we wanted to celebrate #FuzzFriday with one of the recipes and we chose Turkey Mutt'ins. 

OMP! They were SO fab! And even though they had veggies in them Annie barked that they were total yum city! Mommy loved them too! Can't wait to try all the recipes! Have a happy #FuzzFriday!

#FuzzFriday Dog Day

Today is National Dog Day.  I may be partial since she is my dog, but I think Annie is the Best Dog!. So I asked her what she wanted for Dog Day. She barked she wanted a dog ! I knew what that meant! Of course I served her fave dog with cheese and a side of bacon. After all, the Best Dog deserves the Best Dog!

#FuzzFriday - Smart Bones

We were sent Smart Bones and I thought what a perfect treat for FuzzFriday. Annie barked that she was excited to try a treat that would make her smart! I explained that it was the treat that was smart since it is a healthy alternative to rawhide. She barked back, it would make her smart for eating something healthy! I guess she has a point.  But it still will not help her graduate from Princess School.

We wanted to keep with the Olympics theme again for #FuzzFriday. Since we think Mommy did such a great job with the gold medals, we asked her to make us Olympic Rings. This time she decided to forgo the hassle and went to Three Dog Bakery in Del Mar to have them do the baking! So we're celebrating #FuzzFriday with Olympic Rings Donuts. Annie decided to go for the red. In keeping with an Olympians spirit, I decided to Go for the Gold.   Happy #FuzzFriday !

#FuzzFriday - Olympics treats

We are so excited! It is the start of The Summer Olymics ! So we wanted to celebrate #FuzzFriday with an Olympics inspired treat. Mommy made us Bacon & Cheese Gold Medal Biscuits! Annie and I each get a gold medal. And since they are so yummy, we are going to give the third medal to Daddy. After all we think he deserves a medal for cleaning up after Mommy's baking mess! #FuzzFriday : Lasagna Day

How perfect! Lasagna Day falls on #Fuzz Friday. So we googled "Lasagna for Dogs" and we found a recipe rom Three Dog Bakery ! We gathered all the ingredients and with Mommy's help there it was right out of oven - Labrador Lasagna Bake ! So YUM ! Then Daddy wanted some so Mommy heated up Daddy's piece with some tomato sauce.  He liked it too! Fuzz Friday: Annie's Mac & Cheese

While I was busy celebrating Le 14 Juillet , Annie was busy celebrating National Macaroni and Cheese Day ! She was so excited to discover her own personalized Mac & Cheese. She is not sure who the drawing is on the carton since she thinks it should be of her. But she got over that issue as soon as the macaroni was served. So now Annie has proclaimed that the celebration needs to continue today since Mac & Cheese is the perfect treat for #FuzzFriday!

Taste of Chicago on #FuzzFriday

The other day when we got home from our walk there was a big “Tastes of Chicago” box at our front door.  Daddy brought it inside and took everything out of the box.  I told Annie what all the stuff was - Portillo’s Italian Beef sandwich fixings and Lou Malnati’s Pizza.  She was waiting for it to be unwrapped, but then Daddy put all of it in the freezer.  Annie put on her sad eyes. Daddy said we will wait to have it as our treat to celebrate #FuzzFriday! So first thing this morning Annie barked – its Time to Taste Chicago!

Tomorrow is International Picnic Day. #FuzzFriday - Annie's Mush

I have decided to do a new weekly feature on my blog. Every Friday, to celebrate #FuzzFriday I will do a post having to do with food. So since everyone always asks me what Annie eats, we will start with Annie's Mush.  We take chicken breasts and spinach and mush it up in the Vitamix. Then we put it in the Crockpot for 10 hours on low. Then we all go to sleep. When we wake up the whole house smells like mush. Mommy puts it in containers and into the freezer. She saves one tub to put in the fridge. When it is time for breakfast, Annie's Mush is ready for her to eat! And of course everyone knows what she ate since her ear always has mush stuck to it! P.S.
