Stroller manners

Dear world,
Last weekend my human sister Sydne and niece Bunnybell visited. I love when they come, but it does mean I have to share my stroller.  I usually don't mind too much. But toward the end of our stroll, Bunnybell almost knocked me out of my stroller when she tried to get the treats ! Maybe she should attend my manners class for Annie.

Caught in a storm

Dear world,
Yesterday on our walk/stroll, all of a sudden it started pouring. Mommy ran with us for shelter under a hotel entrance.  My stroller’s raincover kept me perfectly dry, so I was content to listen to the thunder and watch the rain. Annie on the other paw was miserable. She was all wet and scared of the big noises. She just wanted to go home. Sometimes, my dog is such a baby!

Going Up

Dear world,
The other day at the mall, we took the elevator up to the second level. Annie and I stood next to Mommy and Daddy, but as we rose, Annie was freaked when she saw the outside moving. So when we got into the store and needed to go to the third floor, Daddy picked up Annie and we rode on the escalator.  She didn't understand, but at least she felt safe in Daddy’s arms.  As my dog, she really needs more mall training.

Black and White

Dear world,
We were in a store the other day and Mommy thought it would be a fun picture of me and Annie on the black and white floor. I thought it would be fab if I would sit on a white square and Annie on a black square. Annie, on the other paw, thought it would be much better if we each sprawled across black as well as white. Which do you think would have been better?

Mealtime

Dear world,
Everyday at mealtime the same thing occurs.  Annie, gobbles up her food. At the same time, I wait, sniff and wait again to see what else Mommy will be giving me. Then, I eat a little and turn around to walk away. In the meantime, Annie awaits anxiously to have my leftovers.  I am so happy I have a dog. It is such a good way to make sure there is no food wasted.

Sunset

Lately we have been taking beach walks during sunset. Yesterday Annie looked over to me and said she is really perplexed  (I taught her that word, since she is often in that state.) She asked where the sun goes when it sets. I told her that it goes to give sunshine to the other side of the world. That got her even more perplexed. So I told her that it goes home to sleep and the moon takes over. She was satisfied with that.

Shopping car-t

Dear world,
While we were walking in a shopping center, I was struck by the most beautiful car. I barked to Mommy insisting to go in it. As I felt the soft plastic beneath my feet and the perfect steering wheel, I imagined my ears blowing in the wind as I cruised the streets of Paris.  As my daydream came to an end, I smiled, opened my eyes, and asked Mommy to take me out of the shopping cart.

Fourth of July

Dear world,
This weekend we celebrate Independence Day. We decided to start early since we have seen a lot of barking about July 4th. Fourth of July is known for parades, barbecues, picnics, fairs, and fireworks. We get to watch the County Fair from across the lagoon and we hope to see a parade. Annie can't contain herself at the thought of picnics and barbecues. We hope to be invited to some.  Of course we will run inside and hide when the fireworks start.
Hope you have a fab Fourth !

There's No Place Like Home

Dear world,
Well I am finally back from Emerald City. It was beautiful and I had a fabulous time. I even still have my Emerald city glow! However, Annie and Dorothy were right, there is no place like home.
