A Japanese Halloween

I finally made my Halloween choice. I loved the costume I selected for Annie last year and I just found it in pink. So that made up my mind. And when I put on my kimono and hair, I was immediately transported to Japan. Of course Annie came along. She was happy she didn't have to apply to be a waitress again.

Crayons

Dear world,
 Annie came home from shopping with Mommy and was so excited to show me what she picked out for us. Crayons Annie, really? She explained that she is trying hard to be creative, and thought being a crayon may inspire artistic talent.  Whatever. But why green for me instead of pink? She barked that she was trying to be practical. What? She barked we can wear these costumes again for Christmas!

Dear world,
I outfitted Annie and I for the World Series. Annie asked if we were rooting for the Royals because  our family in Kansas City are big fans. I explained while that would be a nice gesture, being a Princess and Annie being a Princess' dog, of course we root for Royals.

Dog beach secrets

Dear world,
When we go to dogbeach, dogs come over to Annie and tell her secrets.  I try to socialize with everyone, but no one tells me secrets. I asked Annie why that is. Annie barked that it was very obvious. "We go to dogbeach where everyone with three or four legs is a dog. You Rosy, are a Princess so they do not feel like they can tell you common secrets." It is so nice to know that the dogs recognize and respect my Royal status.

Photo shoot

Dear world,
Every time we go to the beach, Mommy has to take pictures. I am not fond of her taking my photo once I already have dirty feet. I do have an image to maintain. And not mention my dog Annie turning from a beautiful cream Spaniel to a sandy dirty mess. So the other day, I convinced Mommy to have a photo shoot when we arrived.  I directed the shoot. Didn't it turn out fab?

The Princess Life

Dear world,
Sometimes after swimming, I like to relax on my float. Annie won't go near the float, but she joins me  afterward lounging under the umbrella. I am really trying hard to have Annie enjoy my Princess life. She's getting there.

Bath and nap

Dear world,
Annie has had to have a lot of baths lately cause she has been having some issues after surgery,  She is not real pleased with Daddy while the bath is happening, but she forgives him when she gets to  nap afterwards in his arms. I think I have done well teaching her how to be spoiled.

Cool Pool

Dear world,
It has been unusually hot here in San Diego so I thought of a fab idea. Where else is a better place to keep cool than in the pool ?! So since Annie has not been in a pool before, I had to teach her to swim to the steps and then get out. I demonstrated with a perfect princess paddle and a skip onto the step out of the pool. Annie didn't quite get it and kept on turning the wrong way. Oh well, so much for Annie and the cool pool.
