Valentine's Day

How awesome is our Mom? She made us Valentine cookies! (she didn't even do that for Dad).

I tasted first since I am #1 dog. (Dad calls me that). It was SO yum! I took a couple and then told Teddy he can try some.

 First Teddy couldn't figure out how to get to them without eating a flower.

Once he figured it out (it took a bit) , he put it in his mouth and barked yum.

Then I went around the table to eat another. Mom finally stopped us (and stopped taking pics) after we each had 3 . (I actually had 5, but don't tell).

Waffle Day

Today is International Waffle Day ! When I saw the Eggo box, I immediately barked out for Teddy.

 Teddy came over when he smelled the waffles toasting. We watched them pop up.

 Then, I showed Teddy that now it is time to take the Eggo waffles out of the toaster

 Gosh, Teddy is a quick learner !

Then when Mom tried to grab the waffle from Teddy so she could take a pic, he pulled away and barked "L'eggo My Eggo" !

Pizza Day

It's National Pizza Day ! So Mom went to Domino's and picked up a pizza. 

She told us we can have some but first we had to take photos. Seriously Mom ?

Then Mom said we could have some.

I grabbed a slice quick before she wanted more full pie photos.

 OMT ! How awesome! She got us a double beef and ham topping pizza. We have the greatest Mom !

Superbowl !

OMT Its Superbowl time ! Teddy and I couldn't agree on who to root for, so we decided to just root for our own teams. Being from Southern California, I thought I would root for my home team - the Los Angeles Rams. Teddy is rooting for New England because he wants to taste clam chowder.

Speaking of food, now we have to decide what snacks to have for the game !

Peanut Butter Day

What a great day it is to celebrate. Its Peanut Butter Day ! Mom gave me a spoon of it to lick. Yum !

When Mom gave Teddy a spoon of peanut butter, he decided to lay down and eat it.

I was so proud of him when he figured out to hold the spoon!

I on the other paw, just tried to eat the spoon!

So Mom let me eat straight from the jar as long as I didn't tell Daddy!

Spaghetti Day

Did I ever tell you that Teddy's middle name is Spaghetti ? Yes. Teddy Spaghetti. So he was so excited to celebrate National Spaghetti Day !

Teddy just loved his Spaghetti.

When there was not much sauce left he asked for more, and barked "can you throw some meatballs on top too?"  Now he wants to add a middle name. Teddy Spaghetti Meatball.  Silly Teddy.

Taste Test

 We got this really awesome present for the holidays. A Bark treats test of dogtreats from 5 different city/states where our family and friends live.! Our gift was to taste each of the treats and choose our favorites. How fun and yum!

 I went first. I carefully made my selections: #1 Chicago , #2 Kansas #3 New York and #4 Wisconsin. I don't love fish, so my home state came in last.

Then it was Teddy's turn. He ate #1 Chicago , #2 New York, #3 Wisconsin, #4 California . I hope our Kansas family doesn't get insulted ! 

So the unanimous winner is Chicago Dogs ! My nephew and nieces

 there would be so proud ! 

 Just as we finished, Teddy pawed out that each of the treat bags had an animal charity indicated where part of the sale is donated. How awesome !

Pancake Day

Mom heard it was Pancake Day and wanted us to join in the festivities. Teddy was excited when he saw the pancakes made just for us. I thought they looked rather bland.

But then Mom took away the plate. When she put the pancakes back down , they were happy faces made with peanut butter and our favorite treats!

No reason to wait. I grabbed a happy pancake right off the plate and brought it to my mat.

Teddy also grabbed a pancake. However, he first licked the face off a different one !

So before Teddy could lick another face off, Mom brought the last full face pancake to me! I love my Mom.

Cheeseburger Day

Its Cheeseburger Day. So Mom got us each a Quarter Pounder Cheeseburger from McDonalds. 

 Teddy was begging Mom to open the box quickly !

Mom opened the box, but Teddy was having trouble eating the cheeseburger.

 So Teddy asked Mom to feed him. 

I on the other paw, grabbed my Cheeseburger in one bite ! YUM !

Waffle Day

When Mom heard it was National Waffle Day, she told us she would make us waffles. Teddy asked Mom what waffles are made of. So instead of just telling him, Mom showed Teddy all the ingredients. .

So next Mom showed Teddy the waffle batter.He thought it looked weird. 

He then watched intently as the waffle maker made its magic.

 Then the waffle was done. Teddy was served the first waffle. Mom told him it was hot so he blew on it,

The waffle was ready and was served to Teddy..He took a piece to taste. He wasn't sure if he liked it.

So he tried another piece. That is when he decided he preferred when we celebrated Bacon Lovers Day .
