Swan Lake VI

Mrs & Mr Swan had babies! I wanted to congratulate the couple on their new little cygnets. But Mr. Swan came over and told me to keep my distance and not bark and scare the babies. I thought that was a reasonable request. So I went to the dock to watch with the humans. How adorable!

  1. Did I ever tell you the story of my Husky sister Rockford? We went to mom’s office and mom let Rockford and I walk around the grassy pond area while she waited for the building to open on a Saturday. Rox decided to jump into the pond area and start swimming around. My mom screamed because the Swan saw her and came at her full speed ANGRY!! Mom couldn’t get Rockford out of the water because the pond embankment was too deep to lean over and grab her. My Dad ran from the car and got all wet saving Rockford from the Swan. Swans and I will never be friends, you are brave Rosy to stand that close to the Swan on the walking deck. Woof Whistles… Bosco

    1. OMP! What a terrible time! We walk right by the swans and Mr. Swan likes to swim beside us. Mommy doesnt let me chase him anymore, & Annie is no longer interested. Now with the babies, we will definitey be keeping our distance (except Mommy insists on pics and video!) BearHUGs & RosyPoodleKisses!

  2. What a beautiful family. Mother Swan looks very proud as she should be. Rosy, you were very respectful of the new little family by watching from a distance.

    1. Yes! I see them everyday and continue to be respectful. If I even act like I will start barking, Mommy puts me in the stroller and turns it around! BearHUGs & RosyPoodleKisses!
