Today is Thanksgiving. So Annie and I took time to think about our ancestors that may have celebrated the first Thanksgiving. We decided they were probably pilgrims. Annie’s was cute and pretty, mine was elegant and fab. They were probably great cooks preparing an amazing meal (those genes did not reach our generation. Annie and I have guest genes.)

Happy Thanksgiving to two of my favorite girls. Rosy, you look very sophisticated & Annie, you look adorable. Since you girls weren't given the cooking genes of your ancestors, I don't need to be concerned about you, Rosy, trying to cook in those shoes! In your Pilgrim outfits, you're both convincing that you could cook a delicious, authentic, Pilgrim Thanksgiving dinner. I believe the two of you could do anything you put your minds to.

DeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you girls and your Mom and Dad and Bunnybell and her Mom! I'm sure that my ancestors were Pilgrims too, so I guess I would have been hunting for the turkey. I've only ever been outside once or twice, so I'm not sure how good I would be at that, but my Mom would be able to make anything I brought her taste great. She got the cooking gene. I bet if all of us were at a Thanksgiving dinner in our Pilgrim outfits we'd have a great time! :) nosetaps and kissynoses to you and Annie!
