Star Wars gifts

The other day Annie had some minor surgery to get yucky things removed from her skin. So when she came home from the vet, Mommy gave her feel better presents - A Star Wars cuddle blanket with a matching Chewbacca toy. She loved both.  Mommy then gave me a Star Wars present too! ...

Today is Winnie the Pooh Day celebrating the author A.A. Milne's birthday. So I thought I would introduce Annie to Winnie the Pooh . We started reading his book that was written 91 years ago!  Then Annie barked that she likes Winnie and is happy to be related to him. I asked why she thinks we are related. She barked - 'well I am your dog and you are Rosy the Poo !' No Annie, Winnie is not a Poo(dle).

Where's Waldo ?

Today is Waldo's 29th birthday! Did you know he calls himself something different depending on where he is?  So while in the U.S, we know him as Waldo; in the UK (where he was born), Spain, Holland, Italy, Poland and Portugal his name is Wally; he's Walter in Germany, Willy in Norway and Charlie in France! No wonder it is hard to find him -- you may be calling the wrong name!

Mary Poppins

The movie Mary Poppins was released 52 years ago today (1964 if you dont want to do the math), I just love Mary Poppins so I watched the movie again.  I was so inspired. I went over to Annie when she was about to get her medicine and barked the melody 'Just a Spoon Full of Sugar helps the medicine go down'. Annie barked that she is not allowed to have any sugar. So thinking like Mary, since I wanted to say something but had nothing to say I barked  'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'!
