Toy Soldiers

The Holiday season always makes me think of the Nutcracker. So I thought I would inspire Annie to get in the Holiday spirit by dressing up as toy soldiers. Then I shared with Annie the Nutcracker story about the toy soldier who turned into a prince. She wanted to know if I was a toy soldier before I turned into a princess.

  1. What did you tell her Rosy? We're pretty sure you've ALWAYS been an elegant princess! You both look very serious in your uniforms. We especially like the gold braid.

There's a blow-up toy soldier in a yard down the street. He's taller than their house and is standing next to a big green blow-up T-Rex! We think they might be the new neighborhood watchmen.

Love & loud purring from all of us! >^..^<

    1. Annie just figured if a toy soldier could turn into a Prince, a girl toy soldier can turn into a Princess. I praised her for logical thinking but I explained that I was born a Princess (in my mind). That blow up toy soldier sounds fab! We have a blow up Santa and reindeer down the street. 4. I love your outfits, Rosy! I love the tin soldiers! They're so festive, and I really like them. Too funny that Annie thinks you turned into a princess because you were a toy soldier! (logical tho) xoxo
