Elf on the Shelf

It finally arrived! Our very own Elf on the Shelf! I told Annie that this is Santa’s elf that will listen to our Christmas wishes and tell Santa every night whether we were naughty or nice.

I explained that first have we have to name her. I suggested Princess. I asked Annie what name she liked and she barked Sponge Bob, So we agreed to compromise and her name is Princess Bobbie.

Before Princess Bobbie went to work, I thought I would give her something pretty  to wear with some poodlelicious influence. A reindeer skirt and saddle shoes! How fab!

When we awoke the next morning, Annie and I sniffed around the house to find where Princess Bobbie was.  I found her by the fireplace riding the reindeer!

When Annie came over I reminded her that Princess Bobbie will be watching so she better be a good girl!

Annie is not so sure she is excited about the arrival of Princess Bobbie in our house!

  1. Oh Rosy! The two of you are so clever and expressive when you have your pictures taken with things. We always love to see what you're up to next! When we first saw Princess Bobbie's outfit, we thought that was a tiny black poodle (you, of course) on her skirt. Did she leave you a golden coin on the first morning? What fun!

Love & loud purring from all of us... >^..^<

P.S. We don't have an Elf on the Shelf here, so we're thinking that means we can be as naughty as we want and we'll still get catnip but no coal!

    1. Yes! I thought it was a poodle skirt first too! But it does make perfect sense being a poodle style reindeer skirt! You kitties are too adorable to be naughty! RosyPoodleKisses!

  2. Princess Bobbie is very cute - she will be busy watching you two now and reporting back to Santa. All the grandbipeds have Elves who keep track of them too.

  3. Princess Bobbie is looking lovely with her reindeer skirt and the saddle shoes. I know she has to feel extra-special. Annie may feel a bit intimidated about the fact P.B. reports to Santa, but both of you are the best - no worries Annie! xo

  4. I like the part about Princess Bobbie telling your wish list to Santa. But what's this about naught / nice. You're never naughty are you?

  5. We were a little concerned about the Elf on a Shelf. Olive and George have one named Buddy. I know I would worry that the Elf would see some of the stuff I do while Mom sleeps, so I was happy we didn't have one to report to Santa! Yours is adorable! :)
