Honoring the Rosies

This Labor Day weekend, I thought it would be appropriate to honor the Rosies. Rosie the Riveter, a cultural icon, was the major symbol of the millions of women who joined the workforce during World War II. The Rosie's "We Can Do It!" sense of determination paved the way for greater gains for women throughout society in the decades ahead. I am so proud of having the name Rosy (don't know why Mommy spelled it wrong). And I said it was ok for Annie to be an honorary Rosie since she works hard with me to help protect our family.
Cheers to the Rosies!

  1. Cheers to the Rosies ! My Nana was a Rosie called Jessie in the war effort. She worked in a factory making parts for the atomic bomb ! Her friend Josie was a welder ! A Rosy is a Rosie is a Rosy ! All the same !♡ ♡ ♡

  2. I saw this picture on Facebook & even though I saw your muscles first, the minute I looked at your faces I KNEW it was a picture of my very good friends Rosy & Annie! I like the way your mommy spelled your name, Rosy. There's no wrong way to spell a name. You & Annie are a fine example of what our girl doggies can accomplish. xo
