New shoes

Dear world,
The other day Mommy came home and said she bought shoes for us. I was so excited for pink glitter ballet flats. But I opened the bag and I saw these Christmas booties. I tried passing them off to Annie but they were too small for her. Maybe Santa will get it right!

Conehead

Dear world,
I was so happy when my pink bandage came off so I got to chew on my foot. But then the cones came out. First I got this blue one that I liked cause I could still reach my foot. But that was when the pink big plastic one came on. Rosy tried to cheer me up telling me that now everything will look pretty through my rose colored cone. That is assuming that I can see the world without bumping into everything.

Paw Bandage

Dear world,
Annie went to Dr. Andy to get this yucky thing taken off her foot. When she came home she was upset with the bandages on her paws. I explained that the ugly blue one will be coming off immediately. But the hot pink one on her foot was just fabulous. I told her I could make it even prettier by gluing some sequins on it, I don't know why, but she didn't seem thrilled.

PS. Annie is fine, don't worry.

Stop and Smell the Rosy

Dear world,
We went to  this beautiful rose garden in Santa Barbara. Mommy said we should all take the time to stop and smell the Rosy. So I did. Bunnybell turned away laughing and Rosy got annoyed at me. OK, so I misunderstood. But why would I want to smell roses ? Rosy smells much more interesting.

Botanic Garden

Dear world,
While in Santa Barbara we visited the Botanic Garden. We all hiked through the forest. Mommy brought my stroller cause she was afraid I would get tired. But I was invigorated by all the amazing smells and continued prancing and sniffing on the beautiful trail. The next thing I knew Bunnybell took advantage of the situation.

Clang Clang Clang went the Trolley

Dear world,
The other day we went to Solvang near Santa Barbara also called “little Denmark”. I was excited   cause I thought we would get to meet a bunch of Great Danes. But instead, we all took this trolley ride  pulled by giant Belgian horses. I am not sure what the difference between Danish and Belgian horses are. Maybe one eats pastries the other eats waffles?

Little Poodle Sur

Dear world,
To get from Carmel to Santa Barbara we took this incredibly winding road. I watched intently as the curves hugged the ocean.  This beautiful area is called Big Sur from "el país grande del sur", "the big country of the south",  (south of the Monterey Penninsula)Then I realized since I am originally from the South I could be referred to as Little Poodle Sur.

Thanksgiving feast

Dear world,
As usual, our family goes nontraditional for the Thanksgiving feast. Mommy calls Joe in Miami to get dinner. He sends over a big box. No turkey legs, just stone crab claws. I like them cause they taste a bit like tuna!

Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving.
