Christmas Dog

After opening presents on Christmas morning, we all went for a long drive. When we finally stopped we all got out, I thought we were at a little park. Then we saw a big dog.

For some weird reason Mommy had me smell his butt.

Then the big dog said hello to Bunnybell.

And then I was asked to pose with Mommy and Daddy and this weird brown dog.

The next thing I knew, the giant dog is in the back of our car.

While we were driving,  I look up from Mommy's lap and see his big head.

When we got to our house, he jumped out of the car and peed on my pink rose bush!
His name is Titus. He is my new brother with fab highlights.
P.S. I know some of you will be very surprised since we just lost Annie. And while our hearts are still broken, we found out about a dog that was also heartbroken after losing his family. So we decided we can help mend each other's hearts and he now has his forever home.

  1. Rosy that's so amazing! What kind of mix is Titus? It looks like you're going to have your hands full teaching him he can't pee on your pink rose bush! Great news! xoxo Hugs and welcome to Titus!

  8. So happy that you were able to adopt Titus!! That was a really cute post. I volunteer with RFSC and I can't tell you how many people tell me that they just lost their dog and cannot possibly get another dog - ever. That makes me very sad. I know how painful it is to lose a loved one (person or pet) but knowing that you are giving a home to another pet who will love you and give back ten time over hopefully makes up for the pain of your loss. Congrats Rosy and Titus. Hope things are going well for everyone.

P.S. The best medicine for a broken dog heart is to find another dog who's heart needs loving too. I'm so proud of you both for finding Titus and bringing him a new home. This guy looks like he could be Daddy's dog! Woofs....Bosco and Lulu
