Cabrillo National Monument

After our burger lunch, we went to see the Cabrillo National MonumentIt's located at the southern tip of Point Loma Peninsula commemorating the landing of Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo at San Diego Bay in 1542.  First we stopped at the famous statue. No pets are allowed in that part, but since I am a princess, I thought it would be fine to just take a picture.

Next we went to the Tide Pools where we all could hike around and sniff the incredible views.

I think this is a must see in San Diego. Absolutely fab photo ops!

  1. What a beautiful view you have there!!! We live in a beach state (North Carolina) but depending on the beach, it is a 3 to 6 hour drive. Wonderful capture!

  4. Sure looks like your sis had your back so you could get your photo taken, Rosy. It sure looks like a beautiful place. My Mom loves the ocean but we have never seen it. She says she doesn't get to go to the ocean often enough! I think I might like the smells at the ocean but I know the wind would be scary since I don't go outside. You guys are brave to sit on that rock together. It sure is a great picture!
